Karina's Advice to Future Brides:

If things go wrong during the day of the wedding, LET IT GO! It is not worth stressing over little things that won’t matter a year from now. Enjoy every moment of the day because it flies by! Have fun with the planning and don’t try to please everyone--it’s impossible! Remember that you are the bride, and at the end of the day what matters most is that you get to marry the man of your dreams!

Carly's Advice to Future Brides:

It is one day--things will go wrong and even if your great aunt’s second cousin doesn’t like your food choices, your marriage will be okay!

Kelly's Advice to Future Brides:

Don't fret over the details. Focus on the fact that you are marrying your best friend.

Sarah's Advice to Future Brides:

Try to truly enjoy the day. Don't get caught up in how the bouquets look or if someone is later than expected. Just relax and really take in that it is your special day and everyone is there to celebrate you and the love of your life joining as one.

Bonnie's Advice to Future Brides:

Invest in a good photographer for your wedding. All other details might seem important at the time, but 10-15 years from now, all you will have to remember about your wedding is the photos. Also, get a videographer. Videos keep the memories alive and are definitely easier to keep through times.

Alyssa's Advice to Future Brides:

Do your best to relax on your wedding day. Things will go wrong, and it will be okay. Also, hire a videographer. If you can't hire a videographer, at least designate someone with a decent camera to film the important things (like the ceremony, first dances, etc.)

Puneet's Advice to Future Brides:

Choose your wedding day and other functions keeping in mind your comfort level and your personal style.

Lisa's Advice to Future Brides:

Make a priority list for the most important aspects of your wedding and divide your budget up based on order of importance. Here's a tip to get you started: Photography should be at the top. Spend the money on a good photographer.

Roxy's Advice to Future Brides:

Don't plan your wedding to suit everyone else... What matters most is what you and your partner want. It's so easy to try and please family and friends when it should be about the two of you. It's going to be one of, if not the best day of your life, so make sure you enjoy it.

Elizabeth's Advice to Future Brides:

Focus on the things people will remember. Nobody is going to remember the programs you bought, but they will remember the food and how good the music was.

Afton's Advice to Future Brides:

Take a moment with your new groom to sit back and watch everyone. It's such an amazing feeling seeing all of your loved ones partying together and having fun knowing that it's you two that have brought them together and made it happen.

Brooke's Advice to Future Brides:

Don’t freak out over little details. Don’t spend more than you have or go into debt for one day. Eat!!! I had to force myself to sit down and eat and drink to make sure I wouldn’t pass out. The party kind of dies when the bride is unconscious on the floor.

Hazel's Advice to Future Brides:

Don't do anything because someone else tells you you have to. Don't invite anyone you don't want to just because your mum (or aunt or gran, etc.) tell you to. Don't have a big wedding if you really want a small wedding. Don't get pulled into thinking "I must have…" if you don't want to have it or don't have the budget for it.
