Bridal Shower Games You HAVEN'T Heard Of!

So, when you google bridal shower games, you usually get a stream of the standard games - things like Toilet Paper Wedding Gowns, Trivia, How Well Do You Know the Bride, etc. Well, you know what? ...There are a lot of other fun games you can play at bridal showers that are a little bit more unique. Some you may have heard of, some you definitely haven't. Some are twists on more traditional games.

Toilet Paper Cakes

Similar to the toilet wedding paper dress, but totally different! Each guest gets one roll of toilet paper. Set a timer for 2-5 minutes. Each guest has to create a wedding cake out of their one roll of toilet paper. The bride's favorite wins!

Just like Cards Against Humanity, but with a wedding twist! You and your guests will be rolling on the floor laughing! Warning: this may not be suitable for bridal showers with grandparents present! Also a great game for bachelorette parties or even girls' night in! Download the PDF printable here!

For this game, you do need a board for people to draw on (or you can play it as charades! It's traditional Pictionary but with a wedding twist! Download the PDF printable of the game here!

Saran Wrap Wedding Ball

If you haven't seen this game, you need to! A lot of people play it for Christmas, and I thought it seemed like a good idea for a bridal shower! It was a huge hit when we played it at my friend's shower!

Do ahead: The host gets a roll of Saran Wrap and a few prizes to go in the ball (flatter prizes do work better -- small box of chocolates, gift cards, etc.). Roll Saran Wrap around the best prize, then wrap a bit more, then wrap the second best prize in, then the third, etc., leaving several layers of wrap between prizes, until you have a balloon-sized ball. When you play, the prizes will get better and better as you go.

To play: Grab a pair of dice. Give the bride the saran wrap ball, and give the player to her left the dice. The player with the dice rolls them and keeps rolling them while the bride begins unwrapping the ball. The bride unwraps until the player rolls doubles. Once doubles are rolled, the player with the ball passes it to the person on her right and the dice are passed to the next player to the right. When a player unwraps a prize, she keeps it. Continue playing until all the prizes have been unwrapped! Don't want to build a saran wrap ball yourself? By a pre-filled ball of candy on Etsy here!
